記念写真は撮るのも撮られるのもあまり好きではない。カメラを意識すると、撮るほうも撮られるほうも硬くなってしまう。けれど、人の営みは美しく、面白い。そもそもカメラの無い状態が本来の姿なのだから、そんな写真を撮りたいと思う。

I do not like that I have a commemorative photo taken and also do not like taking such a photo. If a photographic subject is conscious of a camera, they will tense too much. And even the photographer will. However, actions of people are beautiful and interesting. First of all, since the state which there is no camera is natural, I want to take a photograph that you can feel such an atmosphere.

夏のうしろ姿 a back of the summer
祭りの後。講堂の二階の吹きさらしの場所にしつらえられた大学祭実行委員会の委員会室は、６月の大学祭の終わりとともに撤収される。祭りの賑わしさを偲んで、晩夏に、仲間と一緒に委員会室跡を訪ねてみた。
After a festival. The room for a campus festival executive committee was in the windswept place in the second floor of an auditorium. This is put away after the campus festival in June. We remembered the liveliness of the festival and visited the place with the friend of the committee in late summer.
旅路にて at a journey
諏訪湖畔。多数の美術館があるこの付近では、湖の周りでも数々のオブジェが見られる。信州の美術館めぐりの途中。級友と。
By the Lake Suwa. There are many art museums near here and you can see many art works around the lake. On the way of journey for visiting art museums in Shinshu with a classmate.
似顔絵描き a portrait artist
写真部に入って初めて行った撮影会、東山動物園の入り口付近の光景。この後も何度か同じ似顔絵描きの姿を見かけたが、今はどうしているだろうか。
It was the first short trip with the members of photographic club at high school. This is the sight near the entrance of the Higashiyama zoo. I had seen the same portrait artist several times here. I wonder if he is still fine.
荷揚げの日
the day of lifting
夏山シーズンの荷揚げ。岐阜県の鏡平山荘。ヘリが近づくと、もの凄い風が吹くので、窓は全部締め切っておく。それでも隙間から砂埃が忍び込む。荷物を降ろした後は、使用済みのガスボンベやごみ等を下げ荷にする。予め、それらは巨大なモッコにくるんでおく。そしてヘリからぶら下がっている金具に、人の手で直接取り付ける。滅多に見られない低空飛行。パイロットも山小屋スタッフも命がけだ。
At Kagamidaira hut (Gifu Prefecture). They transport what they need for management by helicopter. Strong wind blows when a helicopter approaches. Although all the windows of a hut are shut down, grit sneaks in from a crevice. After taking down the load, the helicopter carries used gas cylinders, garbage, etc. away to the foot of the mountain. Beforehand, they have been covered with the huge net. And it is attached to the metallic part which are hanging down from the helicopter by a man's hand. The low-altitude flight rarely seen. Both of the pilot and the hut staff are so cautious to this job.
